Does that Utility investment also include the Duke pilot in SC that was recently approved as well?
Anne Blair

No, that is not yet included
Sydney Roberts

Has there been a income-based tiered incentives/tax credit?
Pete Westlake

It would seem to me that manufacturing follows adoption rates, has anyone looked at the correlation regarding manufacturing to adoption rates?

Seems a concern that infrastructure of EV charging stations is so limited. What are some of the latest trends/incentives to increase installations of charging stations?
Benjamin Kessler Gaa
51:42
Dr. Sheldon from UofSC has some studies regarding this about income tiered incentives and their effectiveness vs other incentives. See her studies here: https://tamaralynnsheldon.wixsite.com/home

I saw something recently in Colorado that was interesting - publicly funded affordable housing projects are now required to have EV ready parking spaces.
Sydney Roberts

What is the opt-in rate for EV electric rates, and is there evidence that these rates are beneficial to both the utility and customer?
Anne Blair

It seems like to get EV going, the most important thing is to electrify public vehicles and public transportation to electic first. I feel like public transportation is huge as it supports electrification and equity.

Also, an opportunity to work with car share companies to provide incentives for EV's in their network

What we have seen in the west is EV charges in low income housing has not pan out since the low income households really don't have the means to by EV yet

As long as we are talking transportation, it is important to keep active transportation as a key pilar in the policy making, incentives, an city planning.

Are there any programs for re-purchase? or financing as opposed to incentives?
Joy Zins

Talking about electrifying the Southeast...I know this focus has been primarily EV related but I imagine there is broader opportunity across off-road electrification technologies...port equipment, cranes, forklifts to incentivize manufacturing in the SE and incentivize purchasing of those equipment types more downstream (I JEA is doing)

Incentives - I think there is an opportunity with having incentives that apply at point of purchase and apply to used electric vehicles (not just new vehicles)

Regarding underserved market - has any one done any co-created program design with the actual underserved community? If not, I would highly recommend that.
