Susan Rogers, I'm interested in the nursing home initiative. Please email me at SKeepperAPRN@gmail.com

01:33:18
Question for Susan Rogers: can legislation require the dental insurance companies to pay for teledentistry in Oklahoma?

01:34:08
@ all panelist, teledentistry seems to be a very promising avenue to reach more patients, however Teledentistry startup ups like the smiles direct club, and other mail in braces type businesses have been able to really take advatage of technology to reach people and turn a profit but have faced multiple lawsuits, criticisms and other obstacles really saying that it is not as effective as in person visits. with this in mind is Teledentistry really effective and would allowing this also open the door for other Teledentistry startups to take advatage and use it for unforseen purposes?

01:34:50
To any panelist: At the OU College of Dentistry we have a Rural Dentistry Interest Group for students, what might be some ways that we as a student organization can work to help reduce the disparities that rural Oklahoman's face?

01:35:38
how to foster communication/knowledge between public health dentistry and private practice dentistry

Jana, yes, please share!

01:41:54
What are the different avenues that might be incorporated in order to execute treatment plans diagnosed via teledentistry? Is there a central website a private practitioner can sign up at for patient care?

really important to connect with school nurses or principals do they know about outside sources that may not be beneficial for their school based treatment programs and giving them options for what is available
