For those parents and kids who choose to go remote education, 100%, how will they be supported?

If more than half a grade chooses fully remote, would the district reconsider how to do the remote learning?

So if there's already a plan in place for remote learning in case of infection, why are we not just splitting the teachers and using the time to develop a remote learning program within the district?

In the hybrid model, on the 2 or 3 days our student is not in the building, will there be zoom calls with their local teacher and classmates?

For those who go remote, why can't there be a live streaming in the classrooms vs an external platform? This happens in other districts.

Some mainstreamed special needs students may have a difficulty following the safety rules - sitting at desk and wearing masks. If they can't remain in school with these restrictions do they have to use DESE remote programs?

what happens if you send your kid and they end up having anxiety - will you be able to switch them to remote?

If the school needs to go remote due to infection, would the students opted into the external remote learning platform be transitioned to the school’s remote learning plan?

If returning with a hybrid model is this confusing and difficult and has so many variables, wouldn't it be best just to start with remote?

Will there be increased time outside (class, PE, lunch, etc) compared to prior years?

When will we be have the end answer to how we are going to start the school year?

Is there a specific type of mask students must wear - and will masks be available at the schools? What do we need to send for our children?

Testing for covid isn't free. Will the state or school district be paying for kids to get tested if they show symptoms?

If each school only has 1 tent and it is largely reserved for mask breaks, how is the additional outdoor learning promised going to be possible?

If the hybrid cohort model is used, what does the “independent work” look like? Will there be any interaction with teaching staff at all during the three days at home? According to the survey the district sent out at least 50% of parents in the district are expected back at work full time, so many students will likely have little to no in person support on the independent work.

if school gets closed due to COVID how long does it remain closed?

how will you choose the cohorts? will you take friendships into consideration?

Good point. Will they be allowed to use some of the flexible seating we invested so much in recently? I think its really helped a lot of students.

you said mask breaks could happen in classrooms with smaller class sizes if the virus can linger in the air - is that actually safe?

I mean, the more I hear about this remote option, the more I'm looking into private schools myself. For example, the Metrowest Jewish Day is going to be fully remote.
