How do you define "pediatric" educator? I was a faculty member in Pediatrics for many years, although now my appointment is in Medicine. I teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows; some are in pediatrics, but not all.

Any advice on negotiating with leadership to slightly reduce clinical and admin responsibilities in order to contribute more to robust national organizations such as this?
