01:34:53
Since many of our early teachings of separation are full of fear and shame - how much of our actions or lack of actions are based on fight, flight, and freeze?
Donna Durbin
01:34:56
The host needs to change the settings so we can unmet ourselves.

Alyce Coffey
01:56:25
There is one pot but PTA's and parents can subsidize their children's learning. Parents bought 40 computers for their teachers one year at my sons elementary school.
Sarah Gish
01:56:28
Yes -- we talked about the PTA making up a large portion of budgets and increasing budgets.
Jami Arnst
01:57:25

This is a great article about the history of policing -- it was started as a SLAVE PATROL: https://lawenforcementmuseum.org/2019/07/10/slave-patrols-an-early-form-of-american-policing. To change racism you have to get to the ROOTS of racism.
Natasha
02:19:46
two of the most inspiring things shared was that as children, we know things are “not right” - it becomes incumbent upon us as adults to be a part of a solution / “fix” and the second is how some people of color simply refuse to allow adversity stifle them.
