The social isolation and related behavior issues are creating referrals for young children who were 18 months when the pandemic started who were kept home, as well as entering kindergartners who did not have access to preschool. Title I referrals are higher this year.

Dr. Starsky Wilson, CDF (he/him)
Thank you all for your kindness, hospitality and love for children.
We'll have a few minutes at the end of Sarah's presentation for Q&A. If you have questions please add them here in the chat or in the Q&A.
Question for Sarah: I've contacted my legislators many times, but I get form letters back and don't feel like it makes an impact. Can you speak to this "behind the scenes" aspects that might give me hope when I call/email?
It was a great day, working together to advocate for the PWFA!
Another question for Sarah: Is there a website that easily shows which are current policy proposals legislators are considering? I assume it's better to contact them about a specific bill compared to generic issues
