Sorry the paper describing dynamical predictions in individual patients is by Tardivon instead of Kerioui in CPT: doi: 10.1002/cpt.1450

Have you considered the effect of noise in the simulated data when comparing to real patients?
Lucy Martin

Would it overcomplicate the procedure to train something like NN based on the digital twin to extract parameters?
Heiko Enderling [he,him]
56:13
Thank you @Rene Bruno. Looking forward to reading

Sort of a question to all speakers… possible comments on balance between good prognosis as longest overall survival vs. quality of that survival
Mohammad Zahid
01:17:32
@Elsa In the PFS vs PFS2 comparison, does it make a difference that the treatment arm patients were all getting the same treatment while the control arm patients were probably getting ‘tailored’ second line treatments?
Mohammad Zahid
01:18:19
Thanks for the thought provoking talk, by the way! (Realized you probably didn’t hear my thanks at the end)
Lucy Martin

Great talk! - some recent work shows that radiation to the surrounding brain can lead to a tumorigenic environment in the brain. Would it be possible to add this to your model and compare models to data to infer if including such a parameter would lead to better fitting models?
Lucy Martin
01:34:59
Thanks!
Heiko Enderling [he,him]
01:35:13
Great question Lucy. Has this been shown also for hypofractionation protocols?
Heiko Enderling [he,him]
01:35:38
Not sure I have seen these data for stereotactic radiation
Lucy Martin
01:35:57
I don’t think so yet, or I’ve not seen it, which is why i was interested!
Heiko Enderling [he,him]
01:36:21
Also interesting what “tumorigenic” means in this context. Median survival 13 months..
Gibin Powathil
01:36:53
@Heiko @Lucy Is this anything to do with bystander effects
Heiko Enderling [he,him]
01:37:09
Another great question :)
Lucy Martin
01:37:24
True - I think current studies show that it leads to more aggressive recurrence
Lucy Martin
01:37:38
which could mean a few months lost

01:38:25
Thanks Sarah!
