@felix I have GTIN exemption approved. I was doing a listing under the approved brand name. I supposed to leave the product ID column blank. However, I was unbale to go through the listing process. May I know if I should input anything in Product ID?

Hi Ellen, I have the same issue this time round. But my first product had no issues, and there isn't a need to enter the product ID, it will just be masked off once u get GTIN exemption approval

Cheong: You may want to use the Buy BoxAmazon will automatically designate one seller the default seller of a product. If a customer clicks the “Add to Cart” button, the seller that owns the Buy Box will get the sale (unless the customer specifically changes to purchase from a different seller). Because customers will rarely opt for a different seller of an identical product, “owning” the Buy Box is a tremendous advantage in boosting your revenue.

@Oliver Chung Thanks! Yes, Felix. I contacted them a few times. And he mentioned the issue had been fixed. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Oliver, how did you submit your GTIN exemption? I supposed we logged in main category will do? or zoom into sub sub categories? And I realised the sub-categories changed too. May be this is the issue.

But the response of customer support is very slow and the way of their response is very "robot"

@Ellen The first time round, I also had a small issue so I wrote in to support. They then asked for a couple of photos which has your product standing next to your packaging which has your logo/branding. Also a letter stating that the owner of your brand is allowing you to sell under the brand (which is yourself). With these 2 docs, the GTIN will go through

@Ellen You have to zoom in to the sub category, just to be safe. That's what I did.

@Oliver Chung Thanks a lot. I think these may be the reason why I can't get through the whole process, as I realised the sub sub categories had changed, which wasn't the same as when I got my GTIN exemption approved. I may need to reapply again.

What is the best approach to handle out-of-stock situation during 1st month launching period, without affecting AMZ algorithm?

@Ellen Try applying again, and this time, select the appropriate sub category. Get ready the necessary docs as well. But from experience, it will still take a couple of ding dongs before they can resolve your issue.

@Michelle, have u done ur listing, if u did, it might be that you used certain sensitive words/phrases in your listing which is why Amazon is stopping ur sale

No sensitive word..for my 80 Pces, 53 pce of the product will be stranded. the rest is still good to sell
