Where are the comp ed and private provider funds coming from

12:47
Can you clarify - If we don't owe comp ed the district doesn't need to respond

12:52
Could we see the private provider application again?

12:59
thank you

13:00
Can this form be submitted several times throughout the year?

13:15
https://oese.ed.gov/governors-emergency-education-relief-fund/

13:18
Do we have to spend the Comp. ed. money first?

13:23
Ok -thank you

13:36
Question about Zoom for schools. I heard in one of the meetings that the DOE has Zoom available for all schools who wish to use it, but I can't remember who to contact at the DOE? Thank you!

13:49
If we offered and delivered services to all sped students whose parents wanted it—can we apply for the comp ed money?

13:58
What is the reason to put all students in? We do not keep our documentation by SASID - so we will need to pull every student individually - that is a lot of time.

14:23
Is the tuition that districts continued to pay to private providers during the schools being closed, is that counted on the application as “funds received?”

14:31
Where do we put the time we had to pull staff for the comp ed meetings?

14:40
Before we submit the form?

15:23
Sorry..it was for the summer services…

15:25
For the percentage of students receiving remote and in person - we have some getting both. Are you wanting solely remote (which is parent choice) and those getting any in person as in person?

15:53
Stephen.M.Appleby@doe.nh.gov

16:55
please clarify, I thought the only students that we need to put on the form are those who are receiving comp ed services

17:01
Trying to clarify my prior question - you are asking for ALL students in the application. Why can we not just include students receiving comp ed? To put all students SASID when a small amount of students are eligible for Comp Ed - that is what will take time.

17:03
Will private providers be providing SASID numbers? As those are our students.

17:03
Perfect, Thanks!

17:55
thank you

Hi All –(not related to Comp Ed)In yesterday’s Coffee and Conversation with NHASEA Becky asked to hear examples of successes related to Special Education, especially during COVID.This is so important since it is our opportunity to share the good that our staff students and families have done and continue to do. Please, please tell your storiesThank you, Becky for helping us communicate this vitally important message.

18:56
We only include the comp ed services that are costing the district additional money, though, correct? Sorry if you already reviewed that.

19:02
The directions state"We ask that you complete this form and list each student within your district/school"

20:13
So I am clear, we must enter information all kids receiving comp ed services even if there was no additional cost to the district for the services?

21:20
What if the district intends on providing comp ed services but the timeline that is mandated does not provide ample time to make appropriate decisions. Do you still need a form from the district? I ask because you stated you needed an email if we weren’t providing comp ed. I just want to be clear that if my districts send this form there will be far more students receiving the service than listed.

21:28
Is it a percentage of what we have expended? How will the total be determined?

21:49
Can you share the formula as to how the funds will be determined based on comp ed expenditures?

23:57
We were supposed to send an email about whether our district was going to provide comp ed? I don’t remember seeing that edict.

23:58
Thank you.

24:06
So, again, if we have already submitted to Medicaid and utilized CARES act funds then we cannot claim it on the comp ed spreadsheet, correct?

24:30
TY

24:38
We had offered a student X number of sessions over the summer - the student did not show - but we hired a staff member to do this - do we put that on the sheet?

25:10
Would you suggest that districts track the total $$ on comp ed they have spent regardless of where or how it may be reimbursed?

25:13
Is this coming to us in an email?

25:58
So, you do not anticipate using only the excel sheet for messaging around what districts are spending on comp ed? This is just an internal doc?

26:13
Can you add transportation?

26:21
Please clarify—were we supposed to email the DOE if mtgs determined that comp ed was necessary? I don’t remember ever seeing that requirement. (Our district has no students needing comp ed)

26:38
Thanks

26:58
Okay….thanks.

27:12
I only ask because it seems districts may be getting some reimbursement, etc. from Medicaid, etc. and not putting it on the excel sheet, but if anyone used only the excel sheet for information, it would not show that specific district giving comp ed…hope that makes sense.

27:43
I would hate the message to be that some districts did/did not give comp ed etc

27:53
I did not receive the comp.ed. email. Who should I contact?

28:09
Mary Ellen Hamilton

28:50

29:16
Sorry did you answer regarding transportation?

29:28
Thank you

29:45
I also need to be added to the list I did nto receive the email martha.lemahieu@sau24.org

30:28
I did not as well

30:30
thanks!

30:34
Thank you Becky

30:36
Thankyou!

30:42
