What kind of support would be most helpful from mental health professionals and researchers whose work focuses on trauma from sexual assault? I am connected with a lot of people who do that work and I think there are many who want to be more politically active.

I work in Fairfield County in Connecticut as Victim Advocate Case Manager through the VOCA Act grant funding by the Office of Victim Services, how can I get involved in cases that are within CT or even in my area to help with some kinds of services? I have some connection with the DA in my district and also I am part of a Re-entry collaborative within CT. Would these connections help and what else can I do?

So, can I just be honest here? Grace House sucks so much ass! There are computers there that are supposed to be for our use, but grace house and most other halfway houses operate very much like the prison and a whole lot like an abusive stalky mate. Staff & administration tend to isolate the people under their 'care' It is time, past time, to create truly safe housing for us.
