In the upper right hand part of the Zoom window is a button to Swap Shared Screen with Video.

This will let you switch back and forth

You may now want to use the same button which now switches between Speaker and Gallery view.

I tried to adapt a toy at Christmas and those two wires didn't work. My friend had to take it home and her husband had to fix it. There were more wires in there and I cut the wrong ones. Is that a common problem? How would you know?

Most toys like this (with on/off button on a foot or hand) have only 2 wires.

Could you also twist all three wires together and then solder once? Or is it better safer) to solder the audio cord’s wire as well as the toy’s wire, then solder together as Michael did?

I know the stereo cable has a yellow and red wire. Does it matter which wire you connect each color to in the toy?

does it matter which side gets the red and which side gets the yellow wire

You can do it both ways. Michael found it easier to do it separately and then together but whichever way works.

Could you use the discarded male end of the audio cord (whose female end was used for the toy adaptation), or must you use a male-to-male wire?

To Gabrielle: The wire/plug for the switch needs to be a monojack plug. Not a stereo plug (mono has 2 wires in it, stereo has 3). He learned that when using a stereo plug wire and removing 1 of the 3 wires, the switch didn't work with all toys. Michael used a stereo extension cable with female end for the toy adaptation earlier so that's why he couldn't use the other end for the switch. You can also use a monojack female end for the toy but he has had trouble finding those. Sorry for that long explanation!
