I pray for teacher and students at every level and also parents as we transition to doing school differently.
For children whose daily routines have been upended, especially those who are prone to anxiety and crisis, and for families who are trying to figure out how to give those children a sense of security and peace
For all those who are sick, and all those whose anxiety has been intensified by an environment of fear
Pray for people to be patient and kind.
For Asian and Asian American communities, for their businesses and restaurants, for protection from the increased vitriol and scapegoating they are currently facing.
For the safety of all who cannot work from home, especially those who interact with the public every day.
I ask your prayers for my sister Lynn, hospitalized in Charleston SC following removal of a tumor. Her care is complicated by unexpected consequences of the surgery. Pray that measures being taken will preserve and protect her life and health.
I pray for my grandmother who is on hospice and peace and strength for my grandfather.
for graduating college students who feel sad and disappointed to not finish their final semesters in their communities
Prayers for people who live in facilities
For my husband, Zach, who is sick (unrelated to Covid)
and prayers for people who work in assisted living, group homes, developmental centers, psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, etc
For those in prison, for those in immigration detention.
Blessed repose for Edna and peace to her family
For those who have suppressed immune systems and they cope with the fear and anxiety that that brings.
In thanksgiving for all the ways we are reaching out and being together digitally
Prayers for my brother and his wife as they travel back to Missouri from visiting family in Florida and South Carolina.
I pray for my grandmother who recently had surgery to remove colon cancer and now has learned has cancer in some of her lymph nodes and will be starting chemo in a few weeks.

For all who are working to keep people connected and cared for in this time. For leaders of the church and all who have to make hard decisions to protect those in their care.
For all of the children -- that they have peace and comfort and the Holy Spirit fills thier hearts.
For our daughter, Lilah, as we prepare to travel to Philadelphia for time-sensitive surgery we can’t really postpone on Friday, and decide if we go as a family or split up.
