The tentative plan is to do a "pilot" in multiple high schools in fall 2021 that would be a math + CS class that would satisfy algebra 2 credit.
Can the advanced comp science, such as AP science, count for both Alg. II and for the advanced science?
I don't think it can count for both.
Ususally it can count for one or the other, not both.
I am going to try to record some CS licence exam test prep over the summer and post it to the STEMcoding youtube channel. The exam is overall fairly difficult.
House bill 166 is a huge piece of legislation because of the budget delay. The CS relevant sections are pretty buried in there.
The pedagogy coursework would be 15 grad credit hours if you are thinking about how much that would cost.
So how does that work on the EMIS side if you have some students that want to take it for math credit and others for comp science and others for advanced science? I believe you can only put in one code
John, can you clarify if the Ohio CS standards apply to high school science courses.

If we have science courses that cover some of the advanced CS topics can we use that course for the new Technology Seal?
Does the funding available through ODE cover the cost of this practice test?
I believe the practice test was about $20
