For the Alternate Assessment Pathway, a student needs 1 piece of evidence for every non-proficient test. So, acceptance to college only counts as 1 nonproficient score. If a child doesn't meet say 2 exams, they would need 2 acceptances to college?

Where can I find the chart that aligns the AP test to the content area?

For both the alternative assessment and evidence pathway, it says that when accepted into an IHE, students must show "evidence of the ability to enroll in college-level coursework". If they are accepted into a college's summer program for enrichment prior to the Fall start, can that acceptance still apply if a student can still demonstrate one of the following criteria?1. Placement test results (or equivalent criteria established by the IHE) indicating the student may enroll in college-level coursework in every subject areaor2. College registration confirmation of enrollment in college-level courses (non-remedial) onlyor3. A locally-established graduate profile

Is it true that if a student gets in for a summer session, that doesn't count?

For example: PSU summer session, would that count as acceptance? I was told it doesn't count for West Chester... Please advise

1. In looking at ACT 158- it still seems that this ACT still focuses highly on testing and more of a pathway to college/university. Is this going to be looked at more? 2. A student only needs to meet 1 criteria from the alternative pathway?

I work in a lower socio economic area with close to 400 students on my caseload. The vast majority do not take many of these tests or if they do not meet the requirements. How are counselors supposed to meet these requirements?

Students need only meet the NCAA core course requirements for DII (outlined on the NCAA page) and maintain a GPA in those courses of 2.0 (or equivalent) - they do not need to create an NCAA account. NCAA provides a list of courses and guidance in determining the GPA at the school level.

It is difficult to have these conversations with parents without it being clear...

While I do understand that the questions about industry credentials will be covered next week (and I will plan to attend) since there seems to be several with the same questions about credentials such as CPR or OSHA, would it be possible to answer the question now, so that we can plan?

Both the CareerSafe OSHA 10 hour training and the ServSafe Food Handler certification are offered in multiple languages which might be useful for an EL student that has a career pathway that aligns.I thought that might be helpful to share.

If the LEA identifies an IRC using the guidance provided on the Career Ready site (Non-CTE IRCs), then you may use it.
