Mergers and Acquisitions in a Market Under Duress - Shared screen with speaker view
Here is a question for The Braff Group that someone asked me to raise anonymously on their behalf:
Hypothetically if an organization was engaged in a potential sell prior to COVID and negotiations have since halted. Do you have any suggestions on how to resume negotiations after this crisis without tanking the valuation of the company/purchase price? Thanks!
Hi Everyone — Dexter Braff provided a copy f his outline and said you may want to follow along; you can find it here: https://casproviders.org/april-7-2020-mergers-and-acquisitions-in-a-market-under-duress/
Dexter, are you finding buyers are bidding significantly lower based on covid-19? Or are they honoring the fact that the market will resume in 18 months?
We’ve seen otherwise, but interesting to hear that you’re not seeing much movement!
What are your thoughts on non compete and employment contracts?
Don’t do them. There are other ways to protect your IP!!
how can patient case loads be valued since most provider contracts have non-assignment/non-transferability clauses since the existing business is the credentialed provider and a new owner may not be guaranteed to be credentialed
Thank you Dexter. Nice presentation.
I'm having trouble unmuting - feel free to shoot me an email me regarding the credentialing questions
Thank you for this much needed information!
Wonderful presentation, than you Dexter and CASP!
