Do they have to be full time employees? We have a couple of parttime employees.
Peter IVY Chapel
29:50
can we include clergy salary ?
Jprice
30:38
I have not found anything in the law to exclude Jeff..
Cathy Bear
35:58
How do we confirm that housing allowance can be included?
Lee Anderson
36:02
If it excludes 1099 workers, that could mean a lot of ministers are excluded. Yes?
Nicholas P-W
36:39
Yes, unfortunately, if no W-2 is issued that specific person is excluded.
Rev. Cathy Jurgens
36:50
If you have to fire someone for something unrelated to cost, does that mean you'd have to repay the loan?
Jane Strauss
36:56
For our church’s preschool, I have employees who are under contract till May 30. They would normally work June doing summer camp and we play rent through June. Will I be able to include June as an earnings month?
Nicholas P-W
37:28
Not necessarily, there is some flexibility in your total employee count and salary burden during the review period afterward.
Neil Glaser
37:48
For average payroll figure, do we take 2019 payroll and divide by 12?
Laura
37:48
Do we have to keep the Employee number the same until June 30 or static for 8 weeks? For example, our preschool school year ends May 31st.
Nicholas P-W
38:38
The review period is the 8 weeks immediately following the loan award. So even if the preschool year ends, if your monthly salary average stays similar through June 30, the loan can still be forgiven.
Nicholas P-W
38:44
Partial forgiveness is also possible.
Robert Van Ess
39:05
So, 1099 employees are or are not covered?
Robbie
39:09
1099 compensation can also be included
David Poe
40:53
In the UCC we have passed various resolutions in support of the separation of church and state, so how would this effect applications from individual UCC congregations, Conferences, etc. Theologically, even if we can apply should we?
Dave
47:05
My US Bank NA Application Would not allow me to include Employer FICA for my Business
Robbie
48:16
I applied to PNC for my business yesterday and I included all employer paid payroll taxes, Not sure of response yet
Dave
48:40
This may be due to the fact that Employer tax is forgiven for Leave paid due to Covid. Will not allow us to double dip.
Peter IVY Chapel
50:37
how do we contact Cora for help ?
Barb Buenemann
52:46
If you have payroll funds in the bank for the next 8 weeks, can we still apply for the loan and use it for payroll?
Nicholas P-W
54:52
Yes, if you already have funds in the bank you can and possibly should still apply for the loan and use it before those funds.
Frank & Carol B
58:14

Rev. Cathy Jurgens

Just so I am clear regarding this topic. No matter where the church banks. The requirements for documentation could differ?

On Friday Bank of America opened applications to those with depository accounts with the bank. You do not have to be a current borrower. The form on the front end is very easy. The confirmation email said they would request more information in the future.
