It is so helpful hearing specific stories that have happened to people so we can learn about what their experiences have been and what led up to the situation.

Tai is correct - And challenge your HR and recruiters to bring you POC. When they come back with all white or the same type of candidates - Tell them to go back and bring you a more diverse group. You have to challenge this.
Oh and start planting seeds with youth in the community.

The homeownership gap in the black community was systematic everyone should read about it!
Our industry is so competitive; not sure we should feed into that for DEI work, which we're trying to assert we need to approach as a baseline effort.
