The Metric of gas paying users is what we are looking at correct?
# DAOs, # users, $ treasuries, gas paying users
Why is # DAOs actually relevant?
(Look at aragon)
Yes, many different metrics *are* valuable, GEN-staking, but also gas-paying users, as well as non-gas paying users, number/frequency of proposals, treasury managed, etc
# DAOs in isolation is useless
that's why # users, $ treasury are there
# of DAOs is a perfect example of a vanity metric
Reputation Holders too
was the question: what is the downside of not going into debt?
It is an indicator that we are building out a DAO ecosystem
Not going into to Debt means No money = No creativity
Gas paying tx/day is a bit better but I don’t think it’s precise enough
Thanks a lot for taking notes Livia! Can anyone help?
I’ve been long proposed that the main KPI should be # of returning proposers per level of returning: How many people propose 2x, 3x, 5x 100x - we are gonna change the world when this is a flat line
I agree, this is important
This is a holistic KPI that if focused on will drag the whole game along - Composed KPIs that require one action of measurement (measurement is expensive) are what I think we should look for
Bringing the DAO into debt (and showing the debt) Gives proposers that are waiting for funds skin in the game to go find funds for the DAO btw
A group of people waiting for funds could emerge into a fund raising unit etc
Hi Lumi and Oleksandr! I didn't see that you had joined
We're currently going into the Objectives of the Genesis DAO
Another added bonus is: By giving visibility to projects that are on the funding pipeline allows the community to actually rally around them and help Them be BETTER since they are gonna get funds anyway.
hmm the more I think about it the more I like a DAO with debt :/
Hi Benoit - do you need context on what we're doing?
Gil are you aware of any investor model with DAO that works?
Hi! I've just found this resource while looking for the resource of tasks for my team of beginner programmers, and I found this resource pretty interesting to discover, but it seems too complicated for the begginers. I had couple minutes and I decided to come here with hope to find some clues what is this projects and how it works.
maybe # of proposers is the high level > and sub level is # DAOs, # users, # treasury
Returning proposers :P
I would agree with that
returning is key
I would just love if we visualised it somewhere
Cool Oleksandr - it might be better to have an onboarding call - I agree that this call is quite complex
This would have big bizz dev consequences
Thanks guys for the great discussion, have to drop off to another call.
