Can you give some more information from the employer side? For example: We have employees that have to stay home to watch their kids because school is suspended. They filed as "laid off/lack of work". But we do offer them work, they just can't come to work. How do avoid this being chargeable to us as the employer?
What if employees were laid off as the events were unfolding (in March)? Would this fall under CARES?
I moved to apply for the COVID19 relief yesterday, is that means that I might not have the option of applying PPP?
its an SBA b loan
Charlie applied for an Disaster Loan
If we keep offering our full and part-time employees hours with regular pay, but they file for unemployment because of a variety of reasons (but they use "laid off/lack of work") as a reason, how to you recon we should respond to the unemployment claim?
for multiple small business owners, can we apply for some kind of benefits that could related to rental income short fall
We have 3 current part-time employees whose positions are scheduled to end on April 30. This end date has been on the calendar for months. They are currently working from home. I am trying to figure out whether any of this applies to us. Two other current employees are staying on through the summer.
Can you take the Employee Retention Credit from March 12 until the time the Gov added shelter in place? Or Until you start using a PPPLoan?
Can we pay someone after the fact under EPSLA for the last two weeks, and then start paying them like normal under PPP going forward?
Thank you Lorna!
