NHSEIS - accommodations page - YIKES!

12:50
Agreed, not working correctly

15:48
Are you saying all of the reallocation funds or just the remote learning funds??

15:58
So the remote learning grant expires 9-30-2020?

17:47
Ok I will start breathing again :)

18:13
PCG has been notified of the issues printing the accommodations and concerning system only allowing 10 custom accommodations and 10 custom modifications.

18:59
WE cannot create a draft and continue to have errors on this page BUT the page will not allow us to correct the issue. They have left you a message, Terri.

19:20
THis date and time works well.

19:43
Suggestion: If you need to add more accommodations/modifications, just put them into the PLOP.

20:12
Can you explain home school and villas?

20:52
It clumps all of the accommodations together into one bullet when you enter more than one.

20:55
I believe Jayne means VLACS

21:02
Spelled wrong Valcs

21:33
PCG is also aware of the issue with the supplemental services date not clearing after it is corrected. We have a meeting today late afternoon, and am hoping they will share additional information on corrections.

21:42
To elaborate....in the accommodations box..in parenthesis place the subject area prior to the text

21:44
It clumps all of the accommodations together into one bullet when you enter more than one; then it prints off the page.

If a parent who has gone through "home school" process and withdraws child from school and enrolls student with IEP in once course at VLAC's, what is district responsibility for special ed, if any?

23:18
did you determine whether or not comp services go into an IEP?

24:03
THanks

24:51
What would be the difference then, for a child who does VLACS (1 course)- parent withdraws; and the child who does VLACS but is served through IEP bc it's a charter school?

25:26
where would it go to be clear that it is comp services?

25:41
Thanks Jane for the home school I was just typing that part in. Appreciate the answer to the home school since it is coming up..

25:48
If a child moves into the district for the start of the school year, does the prior district need to hold the comp ed meeting or is it the sole responsibility of the new district? The new district will not have all the information. If compensatory is necessary who is responsible for the provision and expense? Does the new district have to fund and provide comp ed to students who were not enrolled during the remote period?

27:31
Okay....so districts may not need to amend IEPs going forward, but plan on amending IEPs to reflect current situation at next annual review date, correct? Hope that makes sense. TY!

28:54
Will new IEPs (those that are expiring soon) - be written with the current setting in mind? (remote for some, hybrid for others, on-site for many)

29:18
will comp ed service cost be able to be factored into sped aid calculations at the end of the school year?

30:26
so if the IEP team determine that remote is appropriate, should the services location be home?

30:34
I get that part. But if the IEP team determines it's appropriate for a goal in social skills - and the provision of group services for that goal is not available for the remote student, how will the IEP team deliver that aspect of the IEP?

33:35
Will there be additional documents added to the parent portal for signature?

33:58
if the parent choses remote, and the team wants the student physically in person to meet the need can we document in WPN that the service is available and parent is declining
