If a child moves into the district for the start of the school year, does the prior district need to hold the comp ed meeting or is it the sole responsibility of the new district? The new district will not have all the information. If compensatory is necessary who is responsible for the provision and expense? Does the new district have to fund and provide comp ed to students who were not enrolled during the remote period?

Okay....so districts may not need to amend IEPs going forward, but plan on amending IEPs to reflect current situation at next annual review date, correct? Hope that makes sense. TY!

I get that part. But if the IEP team determines it's appropriate for a goal in social skills - and the provision of group services for that goal is not available for the remote student, how will the IEP team deliver that aspect of the IEP?
