Non-linear kids don’t organize by nature - my older boy doesn’t but his little brother does. Kate Snow’s concepts will help the non-linears.

Zuleika Opolko
01:21:01
Recitation works!!! It reinforces and reviews the game facts and shows what they know and what they don’t! But only a little - not to make it torture and praise what they remember!
Anandi Raman Creath
01:21:52
My 7yo is in Chinese Immersion and her teacher is teaching multiplication tables in Chinese - they're much easier to remember as they're all mostly one syllable and have kind of a rhythm that English doesn't. It's pretty amazing to hear.
Zuleika Opolko
01:22:13
So interesting!!

My 8 year old boy is competitive and he likes being timed doing these sheets because they’re not intimidating and give SUCH a sense of accomplishment when they’re completed.
Anandi Raman Creath
01:23:21
what is a little more confusing is that they don't teach the whole thing from 0 to 9. They only teach the "new" ones. So once they learn 2x3, the list they recite for the 3 times table doesn't have 3x2, it starts with 3x3.
