What is the deadline for the financial aid?

Some schools only allow for one letter of recommendation. Does that include the letter from guidance?

When adding teachers to Navience for recommendations, does the college list need to be final?

No to the college list being final. Those recommendations will live there and if a student decides to add schools - we can send those in.

Since scores are sent through college board, does it matter if the updated scores are not in Navience?

If the child is taking the Oct 2nd SAT, is that enough time for ED?

No - we typically get those scores 2 weeks later than the students and no one sees what is in Naviance except for us. And depends on when the ED deadline is. For Nov 15th yes - for Nov 1 - you are cutting it close but if you call the school and let them know that you are planning on taking the test on the 2nd and submitting scores, they will let you know if they will accept them....most do.

re: What happens when colleges “visit” Hastings virtually? How is it different from when a student does their own virtual visit with the school ?

Does the guidance office offer names of former Hastings students who’ve attended certain colleges who have said they’d be willing to talk to students applying to their alma maters? Is there any sort of database for this?
