Yes, Alice, it is.

55:01
Jean, your sound is going in and out.

55:55
Please speak slowly enough so sound quality can keep up

56:30
Can't HEAR!

01:06:14
Hi everyone! Please share the CGA dates with your networks or come on out to participate yourself. And as Jean said, if you want to convene a CGA forum for your campus or community group, just let me know and we’ll get it set up: kdillard@nifi.org

01:07:04
This looks amazing!

01:07:49
I see vividly that you are not trying to sell your first option to provide universal care. Was anyone on the committee that produced this guide who advocates for Singlepayer? It seems like a very biased presentation. The tables of Actions/Drawbacks seems to be lacking in a third column: Benefits! Do your constituent organizations receive funding from any healthcare networks, insurance companies or drug manufacturers?

01:08:30
I know these forums often build on common values. Any suggestions for navigating a forum when participants may not believe that every individual deserves to have healthcare.

01:08:38
How long should I plan for a forum on this?

01:09:38
WE may have small groups of 6-8 in numerous places…will each group moderator receive hard copies of the Guides …. hardcopies of the Advisory materials , etc…..for free?

01:14:01
Thank you, Brad.

01:15:01
Reference this issue being part of A Hidden Common Ground, are there any plans to report on this and other forums before the end of the year?

01:15:58
Thanks again. You did answer all my questions.

01:16:05
I have been in forums where there is wide dissent that those who are not citizens are NOT entitled to healthcare.

01:16:19
I don't yet see the issue guide on the website. When do you think it will be posted?

01:16:22
Thanks Bill.

01:17:22
I've also talked to many people who believe that if someone doesn't have the funds for insurance or care that that is a choice that they made.

01:17:22
Issue guide is on press right now, it should be on website by end of January. Our aim is that all who need it have it in hand by 2/3.

01:17:38
If I have 15 people in a group, how long should it be?

01:18:46
I'm okay with planning

01:19:47
Hi Amy,

01:20:20
Thank you so much. Both answers were extremely helpful.

01:20:22
Hi Amy, I usually stick to about 2 hours in length, including pizza and coffee time at the beginning.

01:20:52
Like Everyday Democracy - one could have two sessions so that folks could think about what transpired in the first session

01:21:23
Brad's time comment -- YES. Every time I'm like "Maybe we will finish a bit early today." and then we run long and people are still talking. Keeping equal time for each option is the hardest but worth it. Then people bring everything up again in reflections :)

01:25:33
It will be important to strive for what Haidt calls “viewpoint diversity” and that involves recruiting participants form different political persuasions, etc.

01:26:46
re Juliet’s comment and similar: as moderator, we explore the assumptions behind that kind of comment (what fears and needs?) and reality-testing (what would it look like if people with various illnesses cannot get treatment?)

01:28:34
For anyone who would like to speak to me about #ImprovedMedicareForAll (H.R. 1384 & S. 1129), please email me at wndavis@acm.org. Most people who do not want #ImprovedMedicareForAll (H.R. 1384 & S. 1129) have not had it properly explained to them. The opponents are pros at explaining it wrong. Supporters don’t have the cash to buy ads to set you straight like the industry has to mislead you.

01:32:41
Thank You ALL for your time going through this. I can see this type of support is particularly helpful those beginning to hold forums. urge you to consider doing this from now on for all issues,

01:32:52
good on you!

01:32:53
Thank YOU to all.

01:33:15
My email: brourke@kettering.org

01:33:47
Thank you all for the session.

01:33:57
Thanks to all!

01:34:04
Thank you. We appreciate your work!

01:34:08
Thank you for this. Events like this are always very helpful.
