I hear perfectly but from the introductions, I think a few people may be a bit too close to their microphones, so they sound too loud.

Let’s think about the fact that we have people out there ready to die to restore the ‘economy.’ Something like a death cult has taken hold? How to get people’s values back on track.

I tell my students that 'we' don't yet know how to make all the changes we need in the world - there is so much more to discover. We need to be ready for new movement building that we don't immediately recognise... and the hope for change.
Emma
36:12
We need to focus on healing, love, transformation, and oneness to build positive energy - through meditation, visualization, and care for each other rather than focusing on the virus.

Tiffany: Is there any possibility that we cd. collect some medical resources, maybe partner w/ Drs. w/o Borders, to offer that kind of support to countries we work in? Build our credibility going fwd.
Meeting Host
43:24
You bet! We are forming some operational partnerships with some of the medical NGOs. It is a great way to maximize collective skills and resources.

In Colombia grassroots groups have called for a ceasefire, but sadly the various armed actors seem to instead be ramping up attacks on social leaders. Death squads are having an easier time finding them since they’re stuck at home.

In thinking about movement building I think there are good conversations needed between those of us thinking about the power of nonviolence and the startling environmental changes happening now and the climate emergency movement...
melanie, greenwood lake, ny

I have an idea of replacing “this is war” to “this is oneness”
Agnès

John Fairfield

Parsing the world into countries is maladaptive. Why should travel between the US and Canada be stopped, but not that between NY and Pennsylvania? We need a different parse of the world—like no parse at all.
