I'm connected to WWARA through workshops this year, and through my work in an arts education nonprofit I have an interest in utilizing the arts to create access to tools for liberation.

A few things! 1) Opportunity to engage some people in our workplace who don't typically engage in this work. 2) Respect for the work of LBS (and others, but I'm just not as familiar with you!), as well as our CEO's respect for LBS, which makes me think it might be easier to convince her to do this. 3) Always looking for opportunity to engage in opportunities that can move our work towards equity and liberation, and this one seemed especially appealing because it is both really local and with some folks who are familiar to our organization.

Trying not to write an essay. Super interested in anything that's aimed at advancing liberation. Want to continue to work to make the non-profit machine in the city begin to work for my community.

Frank, choice program, as we move the program towards antiracism and youth-centeredness, excited about hearing how other people are thinking about this for organizations

I also participated in WWARA workshops. I’m an AP at a private high school in Baltimore and am just here to learn more about the program.

Adar, are you saying that MUST with a hard m? In the case of an ED who is theoretically on board, but literally lacks the capacity (due to involvement in the state youth DMC board) could the Deputy and 2 Program Directors suffice?
