tools: Scissors, tape, pritt stick or other glue.
scalpel is good too- but no worries if you don’t have one
- materials- paper, envelopes, magazine, old drawings, newspaper
old card- eg. cereal packets
think about tones
light, mid-tone, dark toned.
Newspaper- you can find bits of dark. the text can be midtown.
Arrange your tones in tonal order
forget about colour! this is about tones
you’ll need your mirror
if you have a square mirror use a square piece of paper
Think hard about what tones to use.
Start with the background as your base
is it lightest, mid-tone or darkest?
It will vary for all of you!
can you show us where, how far from you and how have you set up your mirror
