Bridge Alliance Leaders Call - Shared screen with gallery view
Greetings from Reston!
Busy…my word is busy
Our incredible intern Sara Miller will be taking notes today - FYI
My connection seems unstable. I’m going to cut my video to see if that helps.
Here’s the Agenda for those who came later: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V5JlMmVUb3o_aEx6C-ba_UZQTorSOycYJjeM8DzP5uw/edit
Carolyn, is there a link to share with that (for Divided We Fall)?

If anyone knows of any nonprofits who are doing voter engagement and overcoming COVID/social distancing challenges (food pantries, education, etc.) please contact me at email@example.com. We are doing profiles of organizations that appear on nonprofitvote.org and in Independent Sector’s newsletter. Thanks

Yes! Thanks, Bruce. At a minimum, people can add the #weavingcommunity tag to posts about their work right now.

oops, I accidentally hit send after typing the url for the “Divided We Fall: Unity without Tragedy” that will air on Rocky Mountain Public Television on April 30th right after the PBS Newshour. Later today I will send the email that John Steiner requested so that you can easily forward to members and friends in Colorado. Thank you very much in advance for your help to urge folks to watch the episode and go to the website to continue that conversation after watching. With great gratitude, Carolyn
For those of you interested in our work at Common Ground Committee where we put people of note from opposing view points on stage to demonstrate "what good likes" when it comes to productive discourse, our last event (maybe for a while :-( was with Chris Wallace (Fox News) and Maggie Haberman (NYT/CNN) on Feb 25. Here are the videos in case you are looking for something of value to consume while you are at home. https://commongroundcommittee.org/event/facts-fake-news-the-media/
If you'd like to be on Ballotpedia's daily COVID updates (major changes in state policies, election policies, and even tracking issues like rent/mortgage payments through this), feel free to ping me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll get you added!
That’s exciting, Robin! When the time comes, please submit a blog post on the project for NCDD.

Good to be with you folks. Apologies, many Holy Week activities requiring attention. Be encouraged, friends!
Forgot to mention, we are hosting an April 23 webinar about COVID and Absentee Ballots with Amber McReynolds (National Vote At Home), WA SOS Kim Wyman and Ben Hovland (EAC). It’s free — https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_-DoOesjGRZ6GqVAQxQ766g
What are the seeds we need to plant now for “the new normal?”
Next Weds NCDD and NCL are co-hosting a webinar on Social Distancing and Public Engagement. http://ncdd.org/31016
Gotta head out, but it was great to see your faces!
Have to disconnect, but nice seeing everyone today!
Answer to seeds question: One "seed" would be to chronicle and publish now - and from now on - examples of what good looks like. That could include acts of kindness, situations where political differences were put aside to move forward on an impactful initiative, etc.
This was great guys. I have to jump! See you next week.

Have to scoot to another meeting - thanks all.
Thank you Robin!
Please note here or email me your vote to continue these calls. Yes to continue weekly. No for other options. Thanks!
I have to get to my next meeting. Wishing everyone wellness and progress!
