It's actually going pretty smooth - slow in enrollment though. Families are still hesitant signing up their children and the initial rumors of looting and rioting coming to our neighborhoods also made parents wary

Providers and professionals have stepped up to offer whatever necessary to meet communities needs. As we move forward you will likely be asked to do more. Examine your organization's mission and determine what you are willing to do, how much it will cost, and find/ask for the resources to make it happen.

Alison and Jen (or others), I’m curious if you’re hearing about or seeing examples of strong collaboration yet between afterschool providers and schools that is specific to this uncharted territory we’re all experiencing. You noted that will be essential but has it started yet?

Mark Cowsert-Missouri AfterSchool Network
01:04:20
The biggest challenge for programs in Missouri who have begun in person programming is that the lower ratios means less families get served which leaves big gaps...many of the programs are serving at or less than 50% of the students that are normally served during Summer Enrichment...which is also a huge concern for the school year in the Fall
