26:54
was the weekly test similar to the lateral flow test?

30:07
We have heard there are challenges with the scanning of the bar codes - did you find this to be the case?

30:36
Our council are disputing clinical waste collections - has anyone else had this?

31:27
When asking students to come in early (close contacts), how was that received in terms of travel e.g. buses etc

33:13
Can we get access to these slides please.

50:25

50:34
We will be sharing the slides and a recording of the session

53:33
What was the cleaning regime when you get a positive case

54:58
Agree about home testing - the NHS do so we could with staff trained. We have trained all our staff but the limited kits meant we couldn't home test

55:52
My other half works for the NHS and has these kits at home to test before going into work.

56:44
whats the average number of test carried out each day?

57:32
Did you use a booking system for individulas to book their test slot?

01:00:13
Have either colleges had experience of testing high needs students with complex learning difficulties or made any plans for this

01:00:43
I am interested to know about the roles, were there any GDPR issues with using volunteers or particular staff for the results recording roles?

01:01:33
PHE have said to me if contacted by track and trace they would have to self isolate

01:01:51
we have had a case this week where this was confirmed

01:02:42
are the barcodes on the tests normal 1D barcodes or are they 2D QR codes?

01:02:46
I don't think that after the test staff/students need to self-isolate as the risk of them having Covid 19 is unchanged

01:03:25
Where do you store the consent forms?

01:03:26
if the lateral flow test is positive do we give a pcr kit to take away or do we advise they book themselves through nhs?

01:04:36
we have been issuing PCR tests to positive tests to speed up process

01:05:43
Thank you Gerard - Can you please clarify how you achieved 16 tests per station per hour accurately - I can see the potential for tests, bar codes etc to be mixed up!

01:05:59
we Pre-register when we booking staff and students as it cuts down the registration time in the Testing Centre. It is working well

01:06:15
We do this also

01:06:50
what information is required for the registration? is there a potential for registering on the students' behalf after the swab has been taken?

01:08:13
Were students/staff able to pre-book their test?

01:08:40
our group has decided that any test facility needs to be accessed/egressed from an outside space rather than inside the building but long term with higher numbers we will need to relax this

01:08:45
Did you ask staff/students to do the throat and nose swabbing? I've seen guidance that just one is sufficient?

01:09:37
do you recommend getting consent of the whole student/staff body in advance of mass testing?

01:10:21
Did you do online consent forms or paper based … or both?

01:11:40
Some NHS Trusts and services are doing nose only - but both nostrils not one. We have asked PHE and not had an answer yet on whether this is acceptable. Schools are very keen to be able to just do nose swabs as they’re concerned that students won’t want to do throat swabs.

01:12:40
PHE in my area have said that we can do either nasal or throat swab or both

01:13:18
Sorry I need to leave for a meeting. Thank you and I look foward to receiving the slides.

01:14:48
The guidance now is that you must give them a PCR test to take home with them if they are positive in the lateral flow test

01:15:26
has the webinar been recorded because I didn't get a link until 2.50

01:16:06
could you push support staff for vaccination as well

01:16:08

01:16:33

01:16:46
