This is sort of your revenue/market share balancing, but to the extreme…. While building MVP(s) for paying clients that we own (funded entirely through their revenue to my company+cofounders) their incentive is to continue to add features, polish, and value to them, while I’m trying to get the product out to more people. It’s sort of like an inverse investor relationship. Do you have any advice in balancing these needs? Right now, I’m trying to scale up to do both, but that doesn’t seem to work very well. Getting paid for adding features we own is great, but I think that’s short term thinking and it’s slowing us down, but keeping the lights on and building the team.
