Some of those attributes also indicate addiction to gaming… which is also a portal to abuse scenarios.

45:27
Can you talk a little bit about filters to detect strangers contacting the kids on line

45:51
We can include a list in the pdf if you'd like.... we don't recommend one over another.

46:19
Thanks, it will be useful

57:07
Thank you! This reinforces a lot of what we have already been doing in our schools, at the same time that it brings great new ideas and measures / protocols we can add. I love the idea of using multiple medias/ venues/ strategies to reach parents (we initially focused on zoom meetings and e-mails, but have been thinking about new ways as well such as the short vídeos and words of wisdom short messages).

58:06
Materials on the COVID.ICMEC.org note the age bracket. Online abuse prevention is particularly classified by age - the resource Katia showed from CEOP parent packets are great also.

59:42
We are hearing about topic meetings that are more informal - that allow parents to share more than geared to 'telling them'.

01:00:11
Are there any online parent education workshops that bring together the concepts of communication and child protection? Thanks.

01:01:42
^Parents as Partners is not yet online....we are exploring it, but I'll see what I have and get back to you Joseph. On parent meetings - these may be by class group, or by interest....the idea is to have real talk and trust. Be a resource for them rather than always asking for something.

01:03:42
Thank you! Yes, we have had good success with open parent meetings - especially in the last few months. Many are now asking for more training and information. Our counselors are working overtime on this so I was looking for additional support.

01:10:04
Our counselors really appreciated the Level 1 training and were looking forward to Level 2 this year.

01:10:09
