Do you need (1) transmitter per inverter or per string?
Travis Kepler
38:23
Yes, a lot of them
Matthew Poganski
43:56
So if we're wiring our modules in parallel, are we boosting our voltage to adjust for the string output?
Matthew Poganski
45:20
yes
Matthew Poganski
48:18
Two questions - what happens if you have an uneven number of modules on a string with dual Tygo optimizers (the F model)
Jeff Lauckhart
48:35
How is the RSS transmitter powered and how is it switched
Matthew Poganski
49:53
the other is with the string being run in parallel your ampacity would be higher than usual. For an inverter such as SMA the paralleled ampacity may be above the MPPT rated input, is this a concern or is there a way to wire the output?
Matthew Poganski
51:26
will do, thank you

Matthew, you would have to jumper the two strings at the inverter input so it divides the current between the two inputs. Just like you have to do now with rapid shutdown boxes, where you combine strings on roof
Matthew Poganski
56:16
Thanks Van Parseghian, that makes sense
Jeff Lauckhart
01:04:17
If you have arrays on different sections of the roof do you need multiple TAPs?
Lorne WHITE
01:04:19
Does NEC 2017 690.12 require an EXTERNAL Rapid Shutdown switch, available to Firemen or Hydro workers?
Van Parseghian
01:06:27
I missed the part where you stated the difference between the fire vs. safety versions, can you please go over that again. Thanks
Lorne WHITE
01:06:41
My 2 existing 2015 systems have ‘PV Safe’ sitches on the Tigo Management Unit, but No external switch
Lorne WHITE
01:07:07
How can I upgrade that at no (low?) cost?
Jeff Lauckhart
01:08:14
Is the CCA attached to the inverter? can you install it as a stand alone?
Jeff Lauckhart

IS the TS4-F compatible with the -S, -O and -L
