I am hearing conflicting information from my peers as to when the PPP forgiveness application needs to be completed by. Does it has to be completed on the 56th day or how much time after the 8 week ends does the forgiveness application need to be filed by? Thank you!

Regarding loans in excess of $2MM has there been any additional guidance on the certification of “need” of funds. Does a borrower have to be on brink of bankruptcy to make this certification?

Assume this is not true, but does the increase from 8 weeks to 16 weeks mean that the total loan amount can be increased to cover 16 weeks? Or, is it simply an additional 8 weeks of time to SPEND the original 8 weeks of funding?
