How do students retrieve personal property from the school?
Shelly Willmore
56:30
seesaw is a site for students to post work for the teacher and parents to see,it’s not really a general reference site

abcmouse.com is a learning site for younger kids
Wendy Jensen
59:06
My sister mentioned abcmouse.com also. It seems most of these are younger learners as mentioned in one of your outlines

I do have extra toilet paper, if anyone is needing some :)

01:24:06
semester tests?
Shelly Willmore
01:26:20
we can make tests and send online but proctoring may be an issue
Dustin
01:26:26
Testing students that are not in the classroom isn't a good idea. Too many variables for students in different environments. We aren't dealing with an entire school year.

I'm concerned about the subjectivity of Proficiency for seniors working towards valedictorian, GPA for scholarship apps, etc.
Shelly Willmore
01:27:42
I do my tests online already but I’m there to proctor
Dustin
01:29:40
We aren't dealing with a standard distance learning environment. The students, parents, and teachers are being thrown into it at short notice.
Dustin
01:34:10
Also need to consider multiple grade levels in a household when looking at online school work.
Shelly Willmore
01:38:15
will kids be taking their chrome books home for use?
Dustin
01:39:05
A lot of online learning solutions don't work well on chromebooks.
Shelly Willmore
01:39:19
If we use google classroom that’s fine-
Shelly Willmore
01:39:33
chrome will work
Shelly Willmore
01:40:06
many things are compatible through classroom
Shelly Willmore
01:40:43
we have enough chrome books but we need to know if they work in their home internet
Shelly Willmore
01:41:14
as Paul says internet works better some places
Shelly Willmore
01:41:27
they all already have c books
kayleeclemmons
01:41:53
As I’ve been looking into developing classes online already (just in case), I planned for having them on a max of 1 hour.
Dustin
01:42:11
Our internet is charged per gig.
Wendy Jensen
01:42:22
I hope to just use my textbooks and google docs. They may be working out problems on paper and just answers on docs. So not much time on google.

Is the school board going to set a time-limit for each teacher? Normally we teach for 50 minutes each day…will we be required to give students the same amount of learning time? Or is it up to each teacher? How is this regulated?
Wendy Jensen
01:45:18
I may also check on EdReady if still available and if it works with chromebooks. That would cause more time on the internet.
Shelly Willmore
01:45:31
Spectrum is providing free internet for students in Havre area that are without....companies may make concessions???
Dustin
01:45:55
For the record, I don't need all answers tonight. Just things to consider.
Wendy Jensen
01:51:16
So this is all to get ready if it goes more than 2 weeks? We don't start anything next week?

Are us drivers and other staff going to be paid?
Wendy Jensen
01:53:51
yes, thank you
Wendy Jensen
01:56:09
on that same line, what about negotiations.
Wendy Jensen
01:57:26
not really a good time to bring that up sorry.
