Has anyone done these tests with people wearing masks?
Ross McCallum, LAc
01:00:01
My question as well. I'm going to ask them any questions at the end, just in case they cover things that the questions are over!

Thanks Erin!
Lisa Pool
01:04:40
I would like to know what helps this in small spaces... air purifiers does it help or not with covid? Does it help with any virus? Opening window helpful or not? How long should we leave a room to "air out" between patients? What cleaner actually kills this virus? Can we spray cleaners or not? Carpet in the rooms or hallways really an issue or not? What do we need to look for in products we are using? Shields - are they enough? Do we need shield and mask?
Lisa Pool
01:04:47
perhaps he is getting to these questions...
Sharon Rose
01:04:59
YES we need the practical info
Ross McCallum, LAc
01:05:06
Please save those questions and ask them at the end so I don't miss any questions!
Carol Griesmeyer
01:05:27
I have heard the asthma and allergy sufferers have less ACE 2 because the inflamm from these issues bind or cause less production of ACE 1 and thus develop less ACE 2. Is this correct.?
Cita Oudijk
01:06:06
Great questions, Lisa, thank you.
Zachary Corbett
01:14:28
Sorry - question for the speaker…
Zachary Corbett
01:14:30
What about using the ozone option from fans?
Dixie Small
01:15:18
are there any freestanding hepa filters that are recommended? revamping hvac for rented office spaces is really not reasonable in many offices.
Ross McCallum, LAc
01:15:23
Everybody please save your questions! This is a very busy chat and I don't want to miss any when I ask questions at the end. I'm getting a lot of private chat you guys can't see too.
Liane Owen
01:18:21
Is there any list of other acceptable portable room air cleaners with HEPA filters for small treatment rooms? (other than GermGuardian)
Erin
01:18:28
Checking to see the name of 1-503-407-1861
Ross McCallum, LAc
01:20:58
That's Kelly O'Connor, LAc, Erin
Laurie Solomon
01:24:42
I've been using UV/Ozone light bulb for 15-30 minutes followed up by HEPA air cleaner, then mopping. I have three treatment rooms, so can keep people 3 hours apart before the next person comes into the same room another person has been in that day.
Tanya Zhu
01:30:35
sorry, that was a mistake
Ross McCallum, LAc
01:30:50
No worries!
Aga Kemp
01:32:47
titers don’t equate to protection though
Kristi Murphy
01:32:53
Contraindication to Hep B Vaccine is Yeast overgrowth, which I didn't know, so had a severe reaction.
Lisa Pool
01:52:29

Has anyone done these tests with people wearing masks?
Zachary Corbett
02:13:09
Just googled it on YT
Lisa Pool
02:13:35

Brynn Graham
02:14:13
Are UV-lizers effective for killing COViD?
Kristi Murphy
02:14:22
Thank you.
Sarah Fan
02:14:29
How long is recommended between patients in a closed treatment room with a portable hepa filter ? Do you need less time if UV is used?
Stuart Greenleaf
02:14:58
Are there requirements for reporting by healthcare offices regarding COVID contact tracing?
Sharon Rose
02:15:57
I’m renting a space in a large office building where the other tenants generally don’t mask up. My windows don’t open. My landlord refuses to let me out of my lease. Aside from the HEPA/UV-C machines from Amazon (I have one in every room) is there anything
Sharon Rose
02:16:01
I can do
Dessa Bingley
02:18:08
do regular eyeglasses help at all?
Sarah Fan
02:22:03
do we need to wear gloves while treating patients due to covid? Previously we have not been required to wear them with our bloodbourne pathogen exposure risk.
Kaitlin Leonard
02:22:20
If a patient who comes in receives a positive COVID test AFTER having seen you are there any protocols or requirements around this and also specific information that needs to be recorded or kept on file?
Kamala Quale
02:24:34
Is there a problem if you have carpet in your office?
Sharon Rose
02:24:46
My landlord is unspeakably cheap. Not willing to spend money… I’ll try! LOL TY
Lisa Pool
02:25:24
I have questions about the cleaners! I spray on Envirocide so I don't have to touch the cleaning wipes. Now I'm concerned about spraying this is not healthy. Should I glove up and use the wipes?
Lisa Pool
02:25:40
don't treat with a fever. Period.
Bijana Kadakia
02:25:44
OHA spoke about this specifically on their call for healthcare providers today. If the person still has a fever, they should remain in quarantine.
Leah Yamaguchi
02:26:06
I personally don’t have employees, but I rent space from a DC who has 8 employees and several of them help with my front office work. Am I required to have the Exposure Control Policy and Plan and their training/offering Hep vaccines, etc? Or is that the responsibility of the DC. I use needles, he doesn’t.
Kelly Duvendack
02:27:16
Seconding the question on the carpet...is Lysol spraying after patients enough for carpeting? Does carpet need to be replaced with flooring?
Janene Mitchell
02:27:54
Sharon, your landlord may be liable if they don’t address the ventilation issue for you. I believe that is a reason for you to be able to break your lease from what I heard Michael Taromina, attorney on NCCAOM webinar say.
Sharon Rose
02:28:23
ty will look into it!
Cindy Anderson
02:29:06
Yes carpet questions please....lysol spray it ok after patients
Sharon Rose
02:32:36

should be be wearing scrubs?
Kelly Duvendack
02:41:00
My thought was fresh scrubs changed between patients and bagged into laundry at end of work day?
Whitney Bautista
02:43:30
That is a personal services OHA requirement/ recommendation to change between each patient or use a disposable covering
Liane Owen
02:43:31
the scrubs that snap in front seem better than the ones that you have to pull off over your head
