I think I can make a difference with better cities (DoubleGDP, Charter Cities Institute) and accessible education (laptops, stipends). I think that is also needed is that the police offboarding process is public and union interference free. That education financing is equal accross neighbourhoods. That gun deads are reduced. And that voting is easy, quick, and for all citizens.
Erin Frey
33:58
Do what I can to help us build societies and the technologies that shape them that are ethical, treat all people equally, and avoid hurting people at minimum yet ideally make people safer and better.

Dr. Wade is the truth. Manny you have given me a chance to see how the bar can be raised. As a former YC-Lever employee, this group has a chance to support candidates and there families by building a hiring process that doesn’t force employees to leave their community behind. I live in West Oakland and the need for support is huge. Thank you for putting this together. ✊🏾

POC experience so much trauma and it would be great to see companies supporting the repair of employees to develop and not be left behind within this high growth opportunity.

Another goal is to break the cycle around formerly incarcerated people not being able to get employment. Like Dr. Wade mentioned, “free but not free” still exists, creates a vicious cycle. Finbarr surfaced this for us to look at for Shogun: https://www.70millionjobs.com/
