Another question - any recommendations for coverage of SDOH services? is this something best covered by health insurers?

I think health insurers can cover programs that address social needs, such as community health worker services for patients with high needs. I also think legislation could support funding of public health departments and community-based providers of social services. Health plans could provide incentives for organizations that measure health disparities and have improvement plans.
