What are you all doing to combat fraudulent DOL claims and multiple claims? We have had over 150 fraudulent claims filed along with some former employees filing over 8 times. We can't reach any one at the DOL even when we have emailed and left multiple voicemails.
Secret Holland

Good morning. Gas South is responding to each claimant's claim one time and keeping a record of the date and time we respond to the DOL. We are not going to respond more than one time per individual.

If a company needs to reduce salaries due to economic hardship and salary reductions put salaried employees below the FLSA federal minimum for exempt employees, will that cause those employees to lose their exemption? Can a company put those employees on hourly wages?
Brett McClung
46:37
DOL has required employers to file a partial unemployment claim for employees furloughed. It's been nearly impossible to log in or get through on the phone. Mixed messages being heard. Are employers still required to file the partial claim or can employees file independently?
Brett McClung
47:33
He's answering my question. HOWEVER, I have been unable to log in for my clients nor get through on the phone. What do we do?
Lisa.Hughes
48:18
We have been told to re-enter the partial claims for each applicable employee each week and we are doing that - very administratively heavy. Is this correct?
Gaby Beyer
49:08
Lisa Hughes, we are doing the same. Weekly re-entering.
Lisa.Hughes
51:47
Thanks, Gaby. We are doing as told until we learn otherwise - better safe than sorry!

The way I've understood it, the child-care related reasons to the emergency sick leave act are the ones that businesses under 50 emp. *may* be exempt from. The way I read it, all emp under 500 emp must adhere to some version of the ESLA.
Lisa Carlquist
