Sorry no mic at the moment! Finding culturally appropriate services to link participants in with. particularly support workers and services willing to assist with facilitating trips to very remote areas that are so vital to connection to the land. Participants forced to live in town due to lack of services where they actually want to reside.

Im in Kalgoorlie and have a client wanting to get back to Laverton but cannot access any services there.

A very big gap and lack of Aboriginal Support Coordinators, including Aboriginal SSC, Aboriginal Support Workers, as well as culturally appropriate services and programs. We know that having these in place can make a difference to assessments being done with Aboriginal people, as it helps with the translation of the clinical jargon, including a positivie outcome

Community Connectors program in Perth that I spoke about is Moorditj Koort - based in Midland and Kwinana/Rockingham, that supports access to NDIS for Aboriginal people
