Wonderful to see this happening IG work the shared garden is amazing too fantastic work and the music … what a fab amount of connecting in the community. The scones cafe is amazing too, and inspiring stories good ideas to share recipes too.
Also Ian would like to speak
I will do
Ability net have been very helpful for the support and IT connections
Sorry will have to leave at 11 45 - delivering lunches!
Good to see you Caroline
Thanks so much Anne what an amazing amount or work the community and PDP has been involved in and all the practical barriers and issues that you have brought up and how you nave bridged the gaps for older people.
Anne is as amazing as ever, reminds me of the strength and character of Leith community, and it's gobsmacking what PDP achieves in the face of so many massive challenges. We were lucky to be able to work in tandem with Resilience Group and their street volunteers round here who met most of the emergency and food needs, but poverty and Universal Credit claims have risen hugely even here over this past year.
I'm afraid I have to leave at 12. Really great to hear from the speakers. Lovely to see you Carol Stobie. I'm a new Links Worker based in North Berwick and Gullane GPs and I work for a charity called We Are With You. My Line Manager, Gill Donnan sends her apologies today for not being able to attend. James Miller, thanks, I agree. Tara :)
Can I apologise for the slight delay to today's event. We were having some issues with getting the subtitles to work, it's the first time that we've used a company to help with that.
