Yes! I did an evaluation with telehealth on a 5 month old with a intracranial hemorrhage at birth. Having a doll to demonstrate handling skills helped tremendously.

I found that it is also helpful to follow up a session with an email on 2-3 activities to work on with their child. I have found parents are a bit overwhelmed and parents are saying that is very helpful.

Great way to use video modeling, create videos ahead of time that you share in a session “walk across pillows”, “crawl under a chair”

So this happens too even during sessions... we have to 'just keep swimming' and try not to stress. Families seem to be much better with going with the flow of technical issues than I am. So I try to take my cues from the families and kids! ;-)
