This workshop is run by University of Bristol Digimakers teams and is aimed at those beginning coding, perhaps with experience block coding (e.g. Scratch). The workshop will demonstrate how to write a poetry generator using Python. It will cover Python topics including creating lists, print statements and random selection. Students will also have to use their knowledge of verbs, adjectives and nouns. It is a great opportunity to learn how to write code, while getting creative and generating fun poems. This workshop will cover all the coding tools needed, so no Python experience is required. You will need to know the difference between nouns, adjectives and verbs. All that is required is a web browser.
