If we have a school that had to get internet for their students but had to use operational funds to pay for it can we apply for this grant and do a journal entry to put the expense in the grant?
Can this information and application be sent directly to our Principal? I'm not sure if she has this information or not, but I am only the Tech Coordinator and do not have the authorization to fill this out.
I apologize if this has already been answered, but will the State take a credit for a portion of these funds against our SEG similar to what happened with the CARES Act funds?
Can this be utilized for services\devices already purchased for students?
Thanks for streamlining this app and making it intersect with CARES/ESSER.
What about answering the six questions in the directions? Do we need to upload our responses?
What about students whose homes may have internet, but the internet is inadequate to support their online learning? Can we use these funds to help these students to obtain adequate internet access?

Can we use our usual consultation form that we normally use.
Directions Page 7, #3 - says to enter the Child Count from low-income families residing in participating Title 1 school attendance areas with public or non. So I need to put the district Title numbers in the child count box?

Can this be used for Monitoring programs for safe internet usage being installed on all computers or is it just internet connectivity?
Can you please talk about Broadband 4 Students and what that site is used for ?
Can you please review on how an invoice would be paid from a student who attends a private school? I understand the district cannot reimburse the school. Please clarify.
@Dixie -- you are not required to use the consultation form attached to the application. You can use a district form as long as it includes the same information as the PED form. Thanks!
I have the same questions as Ibarraza...Can this be utilized for services\devices already purchased for students?
Do the hot spots have to be CIPA complaint?
@Laura: we recommend that you use the same ChildCount and private school low-income student numbers as in your CARES and Title I applications. Call me if you have questions 505-490-5918. Thanks!

The SharePoint link shared in the memo does not connect for me. Will you post the link for us here?

If we are a district charter do we have to apply for this grant through the district?
Hello Mr. Gephart, I am not aware of the state taking credit for these funds against LEAs' SEG.
has anyone had issues with the budget on zeroing out?
When is the deadline to submit application

It does zero out if you click on update.
@LIsa B: For private school students, the LEA would arrange service directly with the Internet service provider (ISP), and would pay the ISP directly.
How do we turn this in?
Is it possible to get the link to this recording?
Memo says due date is November 25
Will we be allowed to test devices in rural locations for connectivity and or stability?
May we provide internet or hotspots to homeless shelters, motels, etc…where students are living? May we provide hotspots for students to use at daycares? Lastly, can these funds be used to add access points to the front of school buildings so that homeless students can connect from the parking lots if necessary?
I always have tons of trouble with SharePoint and getting in - does anyone have advice for how to convince it to let me in?
