are others having an audio issue? I do not hear anything.
I will be starting in a minute
Same- may not have started yet
This is great! Thanks for sharing :)
Any answer yet on how we enter data around Comp Ed for mediated settlements, and OOD placements.
WOW some amazing work and great problem solving
Thank you for spreading the good news, Becky! Folks appreciate your support :-)
If teams determined to make a decision at a later time, can we list anticipated services (as long as we clearly identify them as such)
For the Comp Ed documentation
What about an additional hire of a school psych to get caught up on evals? It is not in an IEP but I did it to keep going with evaluations and to stay timely. Same for upfront services to avoid regression over the summer?
If a school district must switch to a long term fully remote platform due to increasing Covid cases this winter are we still under Executive Order #64--must offer in-person services to all special ed students?
The team wanted to gather more data based on how the student performed when back in the school, hence the delay in making a determination for the need for Comp Ed.
Same for upfront services to avoid regression over the summer? It was done to avoid regression prior to the mandate.
To clarify, if the team recommended comp ed may the district still submit for comp ed if recommended for ESY 2021?
Thanks, if it is in a WPN as we did not amend IEPs and parent signed agreement in a spec ed proposal form to the WPN are we okay?
Got it! Thanks.
We may need to anticipate if we are in a state of disagreement that may result in mediation or due process. I think this is where we have questions.
Will the information submitted by districts on these comps ed forms be used for any other purpose by the DOE beside determining amount of funds?
At some point, will districts report that there is no comp ed necessary?
Thanks that is helpful.
Can comp ed cover a service that wasn't originally in an IEP...but because of Remote from March to June, now that service is found necessary? Or, can only previous services, in the original IEP get added?
Has the district had any formal complaints?
I meant the DOE!
Thank you Becky - good news!
You would not be able to utilize costs you put in the IDEA or is there a way to do that
Sorry, slow typing.
Yes, if it was in the grant can it be submitted. Adjusted after?
IDEA funded costs cannot be put in for comp ed
and same for Medicaid to Schools too?
I will pay it back...
Could we submit the portion not covered in Medicaid then for a service?
Jeanette S - Portsmouth
I thought we were told to put all the comp ed offered not just those with an additional cost to the district?
Any update on NH’s IDEA/Preschool Grants status?
Hopefully most dollars allocated/spent? ;)
Thank you that is a good reminder for folks
Would we have heard already if one of those current complaints was a student in our district?
Thanks! Have a good afternoon all.
Thank you very much for these calls Becky. Enjoy your time next week! Best wishes to all :-)
