Charlotte’s DO GOOD Week takes place April 19-25 (and coincides with National Volunteer Week).
What if we took the same $40 we would have paid to attend the April CREW luncheon and applied it to a local nonprofit in need? SHARE Charlotte has made it really easy to do so with its #SHAREfromhome initiative and on April 21 at noon, we’ll hear from their leadership about how small amounts are making a huge impact during these times of COVID-19.
While we won’t make you donate to participate, we hope you will consider it your form of registration and then send us your story to highlight both on the call and social media.
1) Give directly to a SHARE Charlotte nonprofit partner in need with cash (Donate button) or purchase from COVID-19-related items on their Amazon Wish List
2) Email firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com completing this sentence: I supported #SHAREfromhome by… (Examples: ...donating my $40 luncheon fee to Crisis Assistance Ministry or ...purchasing $40 worth of dog food for the Humane Society CLT)
3) When you send, make sure to include any social handles (Twitter, IG and LinkedIn) which will double as your permission for CREW and SHARE CLT to highlight your good deed on these channels.
Questions? Email CREW Programs Co-Chair, Colleen Brannan (firstname.lastname@example.org), who also serves as the 2020 SHARE Charlotte Board Chair.
