All Doors Are Open to the Open Heart
Breema includes a complete repertoire of Self-Breema exercises, which can be done on your own body anywhere, at any time, in ordinary clothing.

Many and varied, the movements include gentle stretches, rhythmic movements, and unique postures. Each exercise provides an ideal opportunity to apply and experience the Breema principles. Practicing Self-Breema is both nurturing and energizing, and supports physical and physiological flexibility and vitality, mental clarity, and emotional balance.

You study Breema in order to study yourself. You do Breema in order to be yourself. The purpose of Breema bodywork, Self-Breema exercises, and Breema’s philosophy is to show us a new way to participate in life, not from a reactive state, but in the active state, with body and mind together. From there, we have a chance to come to the receptive state—body, mind, and feelings together. The primary purpose of Breema is to support us to become present and raise our level of being by unifying our body, mind, and feelings. In this way Breema supports us to be in harmony with our own Existence. That is real health in its most complete, most essential sense.

Breema's Nine Principles

The principles of Breema are universal. They can be applied to other techniques and methods of bodywork, health improvement, health maintenance and, in fact, to any activity in life. You can begin, in your own way, to apply those principles with which you find an inner resonance. Use them to support you as you practice Breema and Self-Breema and allow them to guide you to a taste of receptivity– an experience of harmony with yourself, with others, and with all life.
