Chair Yoga - Wednesday's 10 am
Gentle, slow moving and meditative yoga class using a chair as a "prop." All postures can be done from a sitting position. Many options are provided for all movements and postures. For example, standing poses such as Warrior and Tree pose will be demonstrated with options for standing behind the chair. Chair Yoga is appropriate for all practitioners, both those new to yoga and those experienced in yoga. Chair Yoga provides a sense of stability and safety by having a chair to sit in or stand behind.
