As all of humanity adapts to a new normal for what appears will be an extended period of time, the world of work is likely to change significantly. While the government is organizing a variety of interventions designed to mitigate the economic impact of COVID-19, we as Christians should proactively identify opportunities to cultivate a hopeful mindset in the workplace.
Our intention is to use this virtual community to create connections between people while providing access to ideas and resources to help us navigate inevitable challenges in the weeks and months ahead. We hope you can join our first meeting on Wednesday, April 1st as we explore some of the recent disruption associated with our existing circumstances. We will plan to meet for 45 minutes weekly (every Wednesday at noon) for 5 weeks (until April 29th).
Some of the topics will include: navigating the new world of work, the challenges and opportunities associated with working remotely, and what to do if you lose your job.
The Hope at Work Virtual Huddles will be hosted by Marcus Mossberger (Human Resources Expert and Strategist) and Cory Scheer (Director of Church and Community Engagement at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty, MO).
All are welcome to attend as we seek to build a community of people with Hope at Work.
