The term vinyasa means "to place with intention." In vinyasa flow classes, we aim to mindfully move in concert with the breath and to engage in sequences that gradually open, strengthen, and stabilize the body. Come expecting to engage basic pranayama (breath) practice in addition to well-rounded, vigorous sequences that include sun salutations, standing poses, balancing poses, backbends, twists, and forward folds. All levels welcome! Familiarity with basic yoga postures is highly recommended, but no experience with vinyasa yoga is necessary.
