This is a shorter Sunday evening practice session.
We will have around 25 minutes of silent sitting meditation, a short Dharma reflection and some time for sharing which might be in breakout groups depending on numbers.
Everyone is welcome, but there will be limited guidance and this session will suit those with an established meditation practice.
All mindfulness practices are invitation-based and gently guide and bring awareness to bodily sensations, feelings and thoughts. You are invited to chose what may be of benefit to you from these practices and stop whenever you feel things may become distressing. We encourage you to take care of yourself, with sensitivity and awareness of how these practices may at times affect people who have/are experiencing trauma, recent bereavements, acute depression, psychosis and suicidal thoughts.
We are committed to nourishing the seeds of self-compassion and self-care in ourselves and the members of our community.
